Public Rooms
Public rooms within Gartmore House include the library, the Cedar Lounge, and five conference rooms that can be booked by arrangement.
Cedar Lounge
The large windows in the Cedar Lounge look out on the oldest tree on the estate and help create a bright and fresh ambience in the summer, when the Wallace Monument and Lake of Mentieth can also clearly be seen across 20 miles of countryside.
The log fire burns and the large oak shutters are closed in winter time creating a cosy atmosphere for our guests.
The Library
With a good selection of books, views out onto the terraced garden, comfortable chairs, spacious tables and Internet access, the library is the perfect place for guests to catch up on some work, read and unwind. Can also be hired by arrangement - the maximum capacity is 15.
