Biomass Heating At Gartmorehouse Conference Centre
We are now delighted to provide our guests with all their heating and hot water from a woodfuel heating unit which uses woodchip mainly from sources within a ten mile radius of the house. Our carbon footprint is significantly reduced by approx 500 tonnes per year.

Gartmore House does its laundry in house thus saving transportation costs, and we are working with conference organisers who wish advice on energy efficient travel to our centre.
The management team are looking at a variety of ways to further improve our environment.
